A WW2 Imperial Japanese Army blanket. The khaki wooden blanket was carried around the top of the Type 99 army backpack, often in a horseshoe shape. The heavy blanket has the Imperial Army star and is dated for Showa 18 (1943).

This example is in very good condition with no holes or damage.
