Chicom SKS Chest Rig / Bandolier

A Chinese ’Chicom’ SKS chest rig / bandolier. The 10 pouch bandolier was originally designed for holding 7.62x39mm stripper clips for the SKS rifle. These bandoliers were used during the early part of the Vietnam war by the north Vietnamese.

They were later adopted by the Soviets during the Afghan war for carrying the VOG 40mm rifle grenades for the GP25 under barrel grenade launcher.

Dated for 1978 and in good condition.
