WW2 Axis Forces Pencil

A WW2 German made pencil made for the Japanese Army. The black unsharpened pencil is marked:

‘Kriegs Bedarf No 259 O.M.P’ (followed by the Japanese Army star and in Japanese kanji) ’Army’.

‘Kriegs Bedarf’ from German to English translates as ‘War Needs’.

I have searched extensively and can find no reference to, or pictures of similar items.
