WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy War Flag

A WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy war flag. The large panel stitched flag measures 6 ft long by 4 ft 2” tall. The hoist side of the flag has reinforced corners and both fixings, one of which still has the bronze inglefield clip. The fly end of the flag shows wear from being flown.

This type of flag would have been flown by a battleship or naval yard.

Very uncommon example and a stunning display piece.
