WW2 Japanese Douin Bukuro

A WW2 Japanese ‘Douin Bukuro’ or Mobilisation bag. The Douin Bukuro was a mid to late war item issued to fighting age draftees. The similar Houkou Bukuro bag was issued to soldiers and reservists to hold their existing military records and documentation. The new untrained draftees with no military experience / documentation were issued these brown canvas ‘mobilisation bags’.

The bag has the Imperial Japanese military zig-zag symbol across the top and is complete with drawstring.

Good condition with no holes or tears.
